    Yes still have not gotten around to getting any more pictures. It slides up and down and you can see it in this picture on the left end of the enclosed part of the coop. Regarding the lower braces on mine I just used a 2x4, and the reason I left it so low is that it supports the enclosed coop floor

    I used 1" diameter black pipe because I had some around. A little challenging getting the holes drilled straight, but it works and seems plenty strong. The axles are 5/8" carriage bolts.     I actually got the plans. When I took a close look at it I felt it was too small even for the 6 Jersey Giants I wanted to put in it. But - I liked the basic design. So I heavily modified it.
