No there is one more hen that has messed up feathers but no exposed skin at this point. I will probably put a saddle on her too and just make a few saddles just in case there is a need for more.
That's a great idea I will have to see what I can find. I have 18 guinea fowl and they are pretty well even between male and female. They are free range all day and coop at night. There is plenty of space in the coop for everyone.
Hello! I hope someone can help me. My guinea hen has a bald patch on her back due to mating. What is the best thing to do for her? I have chicken saddles but I'm not sure they will be long enough to cover her bald spot.
I have 15 chickens, 18 guinea fowl, 2 turkeys! We have acquired all of them within the last 9 months. We have Americanas, barnwelder, green Eggers, and heritage turkeys. I look forward to learning everything I can about how to make all my birds happy and healthy!
