Yuck! Why is it so stringy and attached to the foot? I feel like I watch these videos where people easily push out puss, but I tug on what you see on the pictures and it feels like it’s part of the foot and won’t come out
I’m treating bumblefoot for the first time, on both feet, with 2 of my girls, and not sure if I’m doing it right.
The first 2 pics are of the girl who has it the worst it one of her feet. I’m on day 5 of Epsom salt soaks and getting what I can from the wound, then packing with prid, gauze and...
She was sick over the winter and developed that hard pus in her eye. I tried to get it out but when I did, it looked like it pulled the cornea out 😢 She seemed to be sneezing a bit so that would make sense if she has some drainage. She did just get over vent gleet which we treated with Monistat...
Please help me diagnose and fix 2 of my girls ❤️
The first 2 pictures are of my Oliver Egger’s tail-end. At first I thought she was just molting and her feathers would grow back. But they haven’t. She’s laying, eating and drinking fine, and acting normal, but is there anything I need to do to...
I suspect I have at least one hen who has vent gleet. At first I thought it was maybe just diarrhea but after a closer look, it looks like vent gleet (pic attached). I got monistat to treat externally and added ACV to their water. Also gave kefir with some garlic powder. Any other...
I would say it looks like a small, plastic screw. No sharp edges. Basically a round top with the long part of a screw attached, if that makes sense. It was randomly in our yard so I don’t have another to show as reference
One of my girls ate what looks like a thin, plastic topper. Kind of tube looking. Best way I can describe it. I tried to get it before she swallowed it but was too late.
It’s been a full 24 hours since this happened. I’ve watched her eat, drink, poop and she’s laid an egg.
However, I just went...
Thank you! So new update/question… her poop is a little runny, like it’s on her butt feathers (not blocking). She’s eating and drinking so I assumed this is maybe due to stress from injury?
Also, she’s still limping today, although better. I put her in the coop to sleep on the wood shavings...

Please bear with me, I don’t know what I’m doing!! Can you access the video above?
It shows her limp. This was a few days ago and since, I’ve been applying arnica gel 3 times a day and giving her a dissolved calcium pill in water...
It’s been a few days. She was the last of my girls still laying but I just figured it was because it’s pretty cold again.
I’ll get poop pic in the morning!!
She willing drank when i took her out of the coop to access but ill make sure to get my fluids in her
