    Ah. I have no idea about his genetics. I know we’ve hatched white, black and blues. I’m keeping it to see what it looks like grown. Are all partridges brownish?

    I hatched this chick this morning from a silkie egg. The only possible parents are either a black hen or a blue hen and the roosters are a white rooster and a black satin silkie. Never hatched this color before. Any ideas?

    They are from a hatchery so I wouldn’t know but it does have a much smaller bill than the others.

    I have 3 call ducklings 1 is a week older than the other 2. The 2 that are the same age are different in sizes with the pastel being almost half the size of the other 2. Should I be worried and is there something I should do? Or is it perfectly normal?

    I have a white crested black rooster in a pen with 2 gold lace hens, a silver lace hen, 2 white crested black hens and a silver spitzhauben I got on accident. I have their eggs incubating and I was wondering would they all look like the rooster because black is dominant?

    How long does it take for metzer farms to reach back out to someone? We ordered 2 call ducks and only got one and 13 chicks. I was wanting to know any info on the 2nd duckling and I wasn’t expecting a bunch of chicks. I left 2 messages does anyone have any experience with this?

    I was wondering what this color of golden 300 males will look like as adults. Can’t find much online.

    The picture isn’t my own but is the closest I could find to his duckling picture which I think accidentally got deleted. I have 2 that I got from tractor supply which I didn’t realize were very likely males. I was wondering what they look like as adults. I don’t think I will buy ducks from them...

    I think the Rouens are beautiful and a great demeanor just adds to it. We have chickens as well but ducks are by far my favorite. They are cute, silly and just so much fun to us. Thank you so much everyone for your thoughts and info! Much appreciated!
