Mystery solved...the photos show a RAT digging and emerging from the tunnel. He's eating under the raised feeders. Thank you everyone for your input!

Thank you!! That makes a lot of sense and if I had to choose Id rather have sky thing but a weasel. Even if skunks are related they're my preference. Hopefully they were active last night!

I live in northern nj and the wire mesh is 2"x4"...which I knew was too big but my husband used garden mesh that we have instead of buying more of the 1/2" that we used on the walls of the run. He thought I was wrong. ;) We'll be reinforcing the floor after this.

Thank you! As certain as I can be without seeing it first hand. The wire was not exposed like this until yesterday. I'm going to reset the traps and see if I get anything. The tunnels are under the chicken door and this one is under the feeders.

Thank you!! You confirmed my fears. I neglected to mention the gray one has feathered legs. It has a single comb. Similar to the other 2 EE. I suspect my polish is a male. Acts like a total jackal. Running around like it's crazy. Lol.

I think I have 3 EE, 2 silkies, a polish, & a sizzle or maybe it's a frizzle? I'm mostly just wondering male or female on the EEs (gray, reddish, brown/gold) and the polish. They're 10 weeks old. I'm pretty sure my white silkie is a pullet and the other 2 are bantams so I'm just going to wait...

The yolk less egg was weird. It was smaller than a bantam egg.

I am probably crazy (my husband says I am w all my chicken talk) but there is no question this bird has 2 vents. Lol. I think the normal eggs are coming from the left and the minis are coming from the right. It's completely bizarre.

Update!!! She has now laid 2 robins egg sized eggs that do not contain a yolk. She lays normal sized eggs on other days. It's pretty interesting. .
