    I have an 8 week old Pekin. At 6 am this morning I found her with her foot/ ankle between the door and the threshold. She was on her breast-stomach and her foot was extended behind her.     I have a straight Pekin sibling to Monet. He’s ( possibly she!) fuller bodied.. but up all the time. The Pekin has also started to make more ( ducky sounds) other than chirps. So maybe that’s the case! She’s a wild hare!!!!

    First Duck Hatch.. freaking out!

    No bleeding whatsoever! I only took off the shell, membrane still as it was. Humidity @77 . It dropped for maybe 30 seconds it took to put him back in. Fingers crossed!! I’ve been keeping a humidifier in the room to keep everything leveled off and it has worked tremendously! Thank you so much...

    Well, I opened it, and I did a little bit of dissecting, he is still alive, but not coming out, I read about them moving their mouth, it means they are absorbing the yolk and blood? He is moving his little beak.. hope I didn’t give him a death sentence 😭

    Here I am again… this one is not coming out. It’s looked this way for 24 hrs… it’s chirping occasionally if I tap on the incubator.. and I’ve seen his bill, but that was a couple of hours ago. What should I do!??
