    Got 3 eggs today. I have 9 girls total but most haven't started laying yet. Today is the first day I got 3.

    I now have 2 laying hens. Came home from work yesterday and check the coop I found my one egg in the usual spot, in her nest by the food dish, than a second egg in the actual nest box!

    Out of 9 girls only 1 is laying so far, she just started last Sunday and we have gotten 3 eggs from her this week.

    GOT MY FIRST EGG YESTERDAY!

    I got my 2nd egg yesterday. I came home from the store and heard my girl hollering and thought something was bothering them. I ran back there and discovered she was just doing the egg song and about 20 minutes later I found an egg. The left egg is yesterday's egg right is Sunday's egg.

    I'm being patient. Got one more egg today, probably by the same chicken, one of my Delawares. It's well worth the wait in my opinion I am having fun just hanging out with them.

    Is my girl ok?

    My girl laid her first egg Sunday and nothing since than. It takes them some time to start reliably laying eggs. No worries she will start laying again in no time.

    Nothing today but I didn't expect any. I wasn't expecting my first egg until after thanksgiving so yesterday was a complete surprise!

    I went to check my girls yesterday evening and low and behold in the middle of the coop was my first beautiful egg. The picture is my egg compared to a store bought large egg. I believe this was possibly laid by one of my Delawares.

    I'm new to ducks, I have 4 pekin ducklings and now 2 muscovy ducklings...does anyone have an idea what color these babies may be as adults?
