    Well, this is very interesting! She is really a funny chicken, she makes this squeaking sound, almost a honk. Wondering if yours does too? If I could go back, I would make an effort at a younger age to handle her daily, to break her skittishness. Not sure if it would've helped....at her age...

    Sorry just saw your message. Sadly we had to euthanize her. We had her looked at by an avian vet. It seems that her fall injured her spine and she was unable to stand on either foot. She was in so much pain. We are still feeling the loss of this very special hen. Thank you for checking in:)
