My chickens have access to unlimited food, but they’re all underweight. They’re fed Dumor layer pellets with veggie/fruit scraps, grass, weeds, and bugs. What will help them gain weight? Their keel/breastbone is prominent, but they’re all being fed well.

Specifically, what kind of 1% ivermectin? Topical? Injectable? If you could, would you give me a link? EDIT: Also, specifically what permethrin spray? I’m on a budget and don’t want to get the wrong stuff.

Yes, there will be a structure inside the aviary where birds can get away from sunlight and weather, I’d never stick animals in an enclosure with no protection/shade.
