We don't sell them. We may although give some away to family and friends. I only have 6 hens, so it shouldn't be difficult to figure out who it is. Is this very out of the ordinary to happen twice within a month? Really weird!
They both had a little tiny yolk. Only one had a very delicate shell. I'm not sure what bird it was. I think it was my easter egger who is around 3. Or it also could've been a chick we hatched last summer. Orpington/easter egger. Very interesting stuff!
The egg in the pic was cracked into a pan for breakfast, then I noticed the two little eggs and took it out. Last night, I actually put them in boiling water to cook for a moment, and my husband and a friend ate them. One had a delicate shell on it, the other did not. They said they tasted just...
I cracked open an egg today for breakfast, and it had two mysterious milky white balls in it. As well as the yolk. They are pretty solid! They are about the size of a marble. Any ideas? Eggs within an egg? I've never seen this...they are pictured top right of the yolk.
Our girl is healed and back in the flock. I'm so happy we could help her after such an extreme injury! I'm a happy chicken parent. Thanks to you all for your helpful advice!

Update: hen seems to be on the mend. She is separated, and the open wound appears to be doing much better. We actually re-homed the roo. I although think my hen, daisy, is very stressed. She's pulling out feathers from her back. Any tips? Thanks for all of the advice. It helped and is much...
I'm not sure why this is not allowing me to upload a photo, but it's not. We have her isolated. I picked up some first aid saline wound wash, antiseptic solution, and triple antibiotic ointment. It's a pretty bad wound.
Our rooster has been extremely aggressive to one specific chicken. Open bloody wound on the back of her head. Happened just today. Rooster is being slaughtered as I type this. What can i do for my poor girl? TIA.
I'm looking for some advice on how to set up our coop for the winter. We live in central new york. We are known for bitterly cold temperatures, and record snow falls from the great lakes. Our coop is 32 square feet, has 4 nesting boxes, and is on stilts about 4 feet off of the ground. They have...
