    The fecal test was negative, the chickens are not eating like they did. One thing I did was changed what I was feeding them, the vet seems to think that is my problem

    Updated with pictures I forgot to mention that I was averaging about 26 eggs a day, that dropped down now to about 9 eggs. And they are not eating as much of their feed. We are going to take a poo sample to the vet today

    I have been using stall freshfrom tractor Supply, its not a powder but it is small granular for a couple years now... why wouldn't you recommend it

    thanks for all the replies. I clean the poop boards using cat litter scoop also, I clean them every morning so there's no build up Orr smell, is PDZ the same as stall fresh?

    I have a question for everyone using poop boards under their roots. right now I am using stall fresh from TS, on the poop board kinda costly, what are you using on your boards? I thought about sand, I look forward to your responses thanks Jack

    No I did not insulate any walls, I live in Pa. We have some cold winters also , the chickens do fine.
