Are the black birds in the first three picture pullets? They are 5-6 week old easter eggers. I posted one pic at the end of wha the ones I think are roos look like. I am just wondering about two of the ones I thought were pullets as their comb has started getting pink.

Some of them do have a greenish tinge to the feet. Some are black.... I will take a closer picture of the feet and post... does that mean they are crossed with something else???
Supposedly they only have silkies... but maybe one of their silkies is something else too.
yeah they definitely have a chipmunk pattern but they don't have the brown colouring that those chicks do. They are more grey than brown.

I am sure they are pure silkie... but no guarantee that they aren't mixed colours. They only have silkies but I don't know which colours they have and I think they probably are mixed colours and that is why I was asking would they be considered splash?
Yes they have 5 toes... or the ones I have inspected all do but one that has five on one foot and four on the other. They are actually just from a lady that has a bunch of silkies that she had go broody on her.... she pretty much gave them to me. (I gave her $20 for her son who helps raise...

Hi So I have the opportunity to get some laying Gold Laced and Silver Laced Wyandottes. They are currently completely free range... anyhow my question is how do you collect eggs from chickens that are free range.
