Fly strike? Please help! Need cure?

Update. I've been applying vetericyn and Neosporin. It looks to be healing although still red. No mites no maggots and no open wounds

It's in the left-middle of the roosters booty area. The right side still has feathers and just looks a little red, but not as irritated as the images posted.

Oh he looks super good otherwise. He still runs to peck anyone who enters the gate, and he's been eating and drinking normally. He does get chased by my second rooster but I've never witnessed him getting pecked in the butt, but could be possible.

No I have not attempted to squeeze out the black. No open wounds so I think forcing to squeeze it will hurt the rooster

Yes thank you, no maggots are present. No open wounds either. I applied Neosporin and will continue too monitor. I've read that sometimes they need an antibiotic shot? But was hoping to do more at home remedies first.

    New member -raising two rooster's

Hello, I am new and looking forward to making connections and obtaining much knowledge on best methods to raise my two roosters. They are about to turn one year old on July 4th. Angelica was yellow as a chick and we found out later that he was infact an "Angelo". The grey one is named Rapti

Thank you for the replies! No maggots. No mites present. I tried touching the black spots and it's just squishy, but there's no open sores so I feel like "squeezing" it might irritate or hurt him.

Is this fly strike? Is putting Neosporin on top of the skin helpful? He did have a dirty coop for a few days, but no sign of mites and no maggots present This is an image of the roosters left-middle section of his butt. The right doesn't look irritated and still has feathers
