    So my black sexlink has laid 2 eggs so far and both have had blood on the and her feathers have been sticking out at odd angles. Should I be worried?

    I’m an veterinarian specializing in avian disease, so it was a simple test. I dealt with a woman’s WHOLE FLOCK that had Mareks, so I must have somehow brought something contaminated home 🥲. It sucks but it’s part of the job.

    I just had a power outage! I put the eggs under my semi broody hen and they’re fine. When he bator gets back to stable temp and humidity they’ll go back since she isn’t reliably broody just yet!

    I’m freaking out! My 2 day old Coturnix chick is being really lethargic, when he was moved to the brooder he could barely walk. His brother is freaking out. I don’t now what to do, Ive given him vitamin and put some gamebird crumble in his mouth. I don’t know what to do! Help!
