    based in South Africa, they are Hyline silver layers and are 5 weeks old. they stay in a 6x6m coup and there are 500 in each coup. they are fed pullet grower they are not free-range no signs of respiratory problems. inspected a few and they had no plaques inside their beaks

    This is a recent development, the chick as unfortunately died, I have given them some calcium solution, and did not seem to improve I use 2 hatcherys and both have the same problem. I have given them antibiotics but still does not seem to improve

    The older ones, they are 28 day old The gasping ones can stand and move. I also have some chickens who start to limp, and loose movement in the one leg

    I am based in Johannesburg South Africa. I mixed as per instruction Now upon further investigation it seems if I used 2 types of antibiotics, before I did not know the doxymax was a antibiotics, my mistake I will have to take it to a vet, I have stopped medication to see if anything improves
