    Thanks! But what do you mean by limited meats (Unsalted or buttered) ? I give LOT's of table scraps and she does not seem to be too bothered by it or acting strange.

    One of my girls has a bare butt! All of the feathers are gone in just that area.... what is going on?

    Bloody Eggs!

    I found blood splattered inside of my hen house, on 3 of the four walls. Like jack the ripper was going to town. Is that NORMAL? I could not find blood on any of the girls and it's like fort Knox, so nothing got inside....

    Protien and egg size

    I've heard some conflicting info. MEAT or NO MEAT? Can I feed kitchen scraps, bacon, turkey, beef? I also heard that bread & rice is NOT good for their digestive systems. was feeding 3 scoops for scratch and had NO idea that was Chicken Crack! No wonder they have been ignoring their layer pellets!

    Left overs... Some Romain, a tomato slice, grapes... gave them the ends of the asparagus but they were NOT digging that. SO... Meat or no meat???? I've heard different things. Can I give them left over bits? How much is too much? Have never given them oatmeal. It's 90 today in Los Angeles!

    A couple of my girls will hunker down when I enter their pen. Sorta squat. Good time to give them some love, but what's it' all about? Are they being submissive?

    How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

    4 eggs from my six girls. they were hatched in May.... not sure who's not laying as I have never gotten more than 5 and that was just once.
