I ordered chicks from a hatchery, and they put the wrong chicks in the box. Now I am here playing a guessing game as to which mini flock I just purchased.
This is Princess Lay-ah. She has slow growing feathers compared to flock mates, who are not barred rocks, and more white on her than I remember my other barred rock pullets having. Your thoughts?
Out of all the worms i have seen, capillary makes the most sense. Thin thread like, and no longer than .5" but usually not found in poop.... would they cause bleeding and swollen vent, and yellow scabbing?
It was in his poop on the ground, i saw him poop so no time had passed, i did take video... but it wont let me load it. Do t think you can see them in the picture without movement but sharing anyway. These were tiny moving worms. Nothing big...
My rooster has been seperated, after his bath. He has a swolen vent, with some rank leakage, and crusty skin. He seems constipated too and wimpers when he tries to poop. He does manage to get some out, but i can see more stuck inside the vent. I dont see any sign of worms. Or other parasites in...
Havnt seen any magots. And i would imagine all the dead skin/ scabbing would have been eaten by maggots. I did find something about vent gleet. Can a rooster get that?
