    Sorry to hear about your experience...I have a 6 month old leg horn and so far he's been great...he's and scared of the older hens.

    My rooster is is 6 months old and full grown but let's the older hens push him around...is this normal?...he's very friendly leg horn

    As hard as it is when I know 1 of mine won't make it I don't make them suffer...I know everyone is different and some people can't do it but I feel it's the right thing to do...no judgment on anyone!

    Sorry to hear lost 2 hens to a coon... I finally had enough when it attacked our cat so I got rid of coon... I now have a much better coop and make sure I lock them up at dark!...I also got a rooster

    Tonight 3 of my new chickens including the rooster went to main coop so I put the only one left with the rest...hope I did did the right thing?

    Birds are 6 months to 4 years 1 coop is 7'6" × 7'6" the other is 6' × '4yes runs they are open to each other...in total they are 15' long and 7'6" wide...in total 9 different varieties 1 rooster

    1 of the new 4 is a rooster and other 9 are hens I put them all together today and for the most part got along but tonight they both went back to their own coops
