    Follow up on this thread.. She was wheezing today so we went to to vet. Suspected respiratory infection. She got an antibiotic shot and is being isolated for 2 weeks.

    Got it, Albendazole (and Fenbendazole) = healthy ladies. Thanks for the feedback! I don't know anyone else raising chickens so this is very helpful. She does, she's just got those boots though! I'll bet she's got mixed genes. I don't know how strict breeders are about that kind of thing...

    Hey thanks for the quick response! Comb seemed a bit less pale today, but definitely not what it was. See photos: [current color.jpeg] and [old color.jpeg]. This is the longest I've been around chickens, so I don't know if this range is normal through winter/molt. No pin feathers...
