    am not planning on putting chicken down unless it is absolutely necessary, right know she gets her mesh feed everyday and is holding her own.as long as she is doing well she can free range with the rest. she gets mesh in morn. and afternoon.

    I have a black silkie about 6 months old. Beautiful bird, thought it was a hen until I heard Him crow.:/ Always to many Roosters, not enough hens. This rooster has what looks to be deep blue,purple colors on wings. The colors really show well in the sun, r these normal colors for blk. Silkies.
