Hello turkey-loving people!
Can someone please tell me if there’s a way to differentiate the sex of these two turkey poults? They are the Black Spanish variety and they are six weeks old today.

Yeah that’s my biggest hurdle right now is that someone else has been feeding them so they’re not starving but I’ve no idea if this person is trying also to catch them in the long run. I’ve been trying to hopefully meet this person with no luck. Might try leaving a note for them before too long.

Hey guys I need help figuring out what to call this color. This cockerel was born in May this year and he’s a result of multiple years of cross-breeding my flock (multiple breeds), so I can’t really pinpoint what combination of breeds he is. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I would look around where they sleep at night. Ducks tend to lay in the wee hours of the morning, and they like to hide their eggs. Look around the yard for possible nest locations. Another thing you can do is catch them at night and examine them. You can tell if a duck is laying by feeling her...
