    I I had 13 quail and all but one died aswell. I think they didn't learn to eat in time and became to weak aswell and could not eat. But the surviving quail is doing very well, going on 2 weeks tomorrow. :D

    The brooder is in another room not connected to the house. I will give the egg a try. Do u know if he'll die because he's by himself? That's what I'm more worried about.

    I am at work at the moment. Everything I'm doing, I have done before with my previous batch of quails except that last time I hatched chickens with them. Maybe the chickens taught them how to eat? Anyway I only have 4 left and I'm just accepting they fact that they will probably die aswell...

    Yes they can escape the heater and have good ventilation. I edited the last part of that if that's any help. They seem okay now, maybe it did get too hot and they didn't move away etc. If anymore die I will update
