    Looking to crossing for meaties.. o have a white rock hen and buff orpington roo. Was looking for a cornish roo but havent had any luck. What would the result be for buff/white rock cross be? Good for meat?

    Yum!! We are up to 24 eggs this week!! And when EVERYONE starts laying itll be around that every two days! I cant wait! My silly buff girls keep tricking me... singing the egg song and leaving an empty box!!

    Okay so far at least two of my buffs are now laying!! And a third I thought was going to, but after sitting for an hiur or so she got up clucking as if she had layed, but nothing in the box haha.

    No corn in their diet they free range and have access to layer feed and oyster shell. It ended up being a double yolker:)
