    lets see,the chickens started about 3 easters ago.my loving brother brought 3 babies to my grandkids,who can't keep them at home so we got to.we have enjoyed them,did'nt have a rooster,so i bought one 'big red' he is great takes care of his hens.started waiting for the hens to get broody,no luck...

    found a photo that would be great,its on a forum about sitting eggs on 7/21 .i will try to find it ,it has a chick hatching you can see the beak,and a little more really unusual its in black n white

    what are these tetra tints

    a friend gave me a hen n roo,from tractor supply at easter,the roo(fred) has to weigh 10 lps or more!his lower legs are big as my thumb.and ethel is right behind him and laid her first egg yesterday.fred looks like a leghorn from the neck up,and a turkey from there down really calm and comes...

    hello,i have a question dont know if its right or not but,i was wondering how long can i hold eggs for hatching if my silkie wants to set after her babies are done i want to set some other eggs i need to order and cant find out how long they are good and will the hatch rate go down:idunno

    i have 12 silies bout the same age.they wont go in until i turn on thier light,they pile up in corner,when i turn it on they wait for the bugs have a snack,then go to bed:lol:
