Just candled my eggs..... All but 1 are good and the one that isn't is one I'm not sure about so I have left it in!!!!! Sooo excited... Could see the little dots!!
I am out at the moment so can't get photos but we haven't used a fountain. Basically we went and got a plastic bath tub from a builders yard. Apparently used for mixing plaster dug the hole and filled with water. Where we live we have natural springs so a spring runs in and it can drain...
Tying to... Its not deep enough for them to swim in because I don't want them to get too cold. They get in then sit down in it at the moment. We dug them a pond yesterday outside so as soon as they are ready they will be splashing about! :D
We have dogs so can't really keep them inside or I would be messing with them all day as well. I do however spend a lot of time with them out side. I have just taken these of our whole set up this morning while we were out doing morning feed.

I can't really tell you how he did it.. He just came home one night and built the first one then made the second one for the ducks one afternoon.
It is basically wooden frame with a wire base but they are about 18 inches off the floor so I can get in...
Wow... So good to see everyone chatting! 3 days in now... So excited . Around us we have a lot of markets and yesterday I acquired 5 week old ducklings. Hubby built another brooder And they are now settled so I will hopefully soon be able to hatch some baby ducks as well!! :)
For my birthday I knew I was getting an incubator but I had to have it the night before so I could set it up and leave it running over night.
Then my birthday morning came and I chose my eggs. I ended up with 24 in total and I set them going. All I have to do now it wait. I am hatching...
