    Plywood alternatives

    I used pallets. They are free. Just tore them apart and pulled out the nails. Most are 4 ft wide so are already cut to length. My coop is 4×6. The roof is sloped with one side at 4 ft and the taller side at 6ft. Works great for a smaller flock. But you can make it as tall or long as you want.

    Wierd egg sick chicken?

    Just wanted to let you all know she's better. I had to force feed her for several days making sure she got all those vitamins, electrolytes and supplements along with her mash. She is full of energy, eating VERY well and layed a normal egg 3 days ago. Thank you all for your advice.

    Thank you. No she has no other symptoms. I held her right up to my ear and heard no gurgling or rasping. She's breathing normal. No discharges from anywhere and eyes are normal and not runny. Comb is dark red with no discoloration around her comb or face.

    I have a probiotic that has d3 and other vitamins in it but no calcium. No swelling in her belly but it is a little squishy but small and her chest bone is sticking out more as she's losing weight. Thank you for the tags and advice.

    I tried scrambled egg. No go. Didn't want yogurt or turkey meat from my soup. No greens. Not even pecking at it. She's completely empty and not eating anything and getting thin. She is still drinking. I will try the mash. I'll see if tsc has the caltrate and antbiotics. Thank you.
