  5. The silkies in their new (almost finished) mini-coop. They seem to really enjoy it so far! There is still plenty to do, but it's at least secure and live-able, and it seemed like a good idea to get them out there in an unfinished but secure coop rather than keep them in the dog crate we had them in.

  14. Our barred Cochin is the sweetest bird, but whenever I take pictures of her she looks so angry! Seriously, though, she is so sweet she'll follow me around wherever I go (especially when I'm watering my garden) and when pick her up she'll coo and fall asleep in my arms.
