A few weeks ago, I posted this thread which detailed one of our chickens' conditions:
1) Bird Age and Weight
The lethargic hen is an Ameraucana hen that's 2 years 4 months old (born in January 2018). She's lighter than our other two hens (a Rhode Island Red and a Plymouth Rock), but she's...

The lethargic hen is an Ameraucana hen that's 2 years 4 months old (born in January 2018). She's lighter than our other two hens (a Rhode Island Red and a Plymouth Rock), but she's always been that way-- there's been no noticeable weight loss recently.

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
Ameraucana hen, 3-4 years old.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
The hen was found sleeping on the ground, breathing but not responsive to our voices/touch. She is normally very afraid of...
Thanks for the help. No bubbles or drainage in her eyes, and haven't seen any excessive coughing or sneezing. This morning when I checked her crop, her nostrils were dry.

She is a Plymouth Rock hen almost a year old (turns 1 in 10 days). As is common with her breed, she's very large and heavy.

This may be normal behavior, but we are leaving in 2 days for a 1.5-week vacation and want to be very sure our hens are healthy before leaving.

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)...
Thank you for the response! She has not laid her first egg but the Ameraucana that we got at the same time as her has just laid her first egg. Internet says that as Plymouth Rocks are a bigger breed they may take more time to lay their first egg.
Chicken Breed and Age:
Plymouth Rock hen (5 months old)
Symptoms/Behavior Exhibited:
- she is pooping very frequently (at times once every 1-2 minutes) a poo that isn't diarhhea but more of a creamy textured brown poo (flies love this kind of poo)
- her body seems to be out of poo so sometimes...
Our 4.5 month old Plymouth Rock hen is leaving her mouth open whenever she sits down. She normally closes it like the other chickens. She still appears to be eating normally, pooping normally, and running normally but she is resting and leaving her mouth open a lot. Picture is attached. What...
A few days ago we searched their coop and bodies for mice/lice and didn't find any. Nevertheless we went to our local farm supply store and received a medicine for our chickens. Although meant for removing flies from horses, the guy said it works great for chickens and mites/lice. We sprayed...
How big would mites/lice be? I noticed today while handling our 3 month old Plymouth Rock a bug crawl onto me about the size of an ant but assumed this was too big to be a mite.
