    Mosquitoes!!!!!!

Bats are great for controlling mosquitos. You can hang a bat house near your coop. It'll likely take a little while for it to get residents though. If you set it up this summer you should have bats by next summer.

Food in or out - that is the question . . .

We keep food and water inside, with a secondary waterer outside. We get a lot of rain though, especially during the summer when we get daily storms, so having food outside wouldn't really work too well for us.

Well, I'm 8 months pregnant... top that. Really my husband and my dad are building it, I'm just doing little things to help where I can. This is the biggest construction project my husband has done. My dad, however, has done many projects MUCH larger than this so he knew what he was getting...

    Aspen bedding...

Generally Aspen is considered the safest wood bedding for pets, pine coming in second. Cedar is the one that's usually considered an unsafe bedding choice. Pine is most commonly used though as it's often cheaper and available in larger quantities.

Toilet paper - under or over?

OVER! When my husband and I first got married we had a bathroom etiquette discussion. Two of the main 'rules' discussed were the toilet paper must be OVER and both the toilet seat and the lid must be down.
