    What is this?

    Today I caught one of our other chickens peck Nugget around her chest/wing area. We brought her in and this is what we found. It’s a hard lump. We tried washing it with hibiclens. It smells rotten but there is no discharge. Nothing washed off of it, like dirt or anything. She doesn’t act like it...

    New Chicken Mama

    Hi Y’all I became a mama to 8 chicks at the beginning of August. 2 turned out to be roosters. I picked out an assortment, like picking donuts. I’m so in love with these crazy creatures, they make me smile everyday. Glad to be here. I’m going to need lots of advice

    My Rooster is trying to mate with my hens but they aren’t laying yet. They are all the same age but he seems a little advanced lol. Poor girls are running for their lives when he comes near them.
