    I have never really noticed it either. It has only been lately that they will come by me when I go in the run. I think they are starting to like me more now that I have been giving them treats from the garden. I'm going to start going out and sitting with them some more.

    Awesome I guess a 100lbs of starter it is. Should I stick with crumble of go to pellets? Just seems like pellets will be easier to deal with.

    Is well water ok.

    Is it OK to fill my chickens water bucket with my hose. I have well water that goes through a chlorine system. I just want to make sure that the chlorine in the water doesn't hurt them. I have been filling up jugs with filtered water but that takes a while

    Roosting bar placement?

    When I first introduce my girls to their coop they will be 6 weeks old. Should I start out with the roosts down lower or should they be able to fly up to a 2' roost bar?
