I know I have asked this before but I have had my flock for 18 weeks now and I'm really starting to question the sex of them. I'm just guessing by the size of the combs and waddles. I have been told that the one was just a dominant female but now I can see 3 that have bigger combs and waddles and 3 that are smaller. I have attached a pic with all six of them in it. What's your opinion? Thanks for the help.

They do look like pullets to me. Some girls have bigger waddles and combs. I have a couple girls that have really big waddles. I thought they may be roos but, they weren't. From the tail feather, and what I can see .. they look like girls. Sometimes they are sexed wrong, or placed in the wrong category. My opinion .. hen. 😊

I didn't even notice that in the photo. Good catch. I wonder why her pupil developed that way ... 🤔
I have actually seen that quite a few times in Marans. I'm starting to wonder if it's something genetic in Hoover's flock.
