    I thought she was egg bound but when I got her in the warm bath I realized that she had another swollen and red area on her chest. It's very puffy any will move around. [/IMG]

    Need some advice....I have an egg that pipped around 2pm yesterday afternoon. This morning it had made a bigger opening, but hasn't made any progress since then. I could see movement this morning but my daughter said she doesn't think it is moving any now. I can't check for another 30 minutes...

    Thanks! I actually feel like a dummy....lol the egg hadn't pipped after all. It was just a piece of paper towel stuck to it. We are at the beginning of day 23 and no sign of pips so far from the other two eggs

    Not bleeding. I am also worried because I didn't see the pip so I opened the incubator to put my chicks that had hatched into the brooder. They weren't getting dry because of the humidity. This is my first time hatching so I am worried I messed it up. I have even reading everything under the sun...

    I'm Kristen from NC and am in the middle of my first hatching! I have two chicks in the "brooder" and two eggs still in the incubater. One has a side pip and I could use some advice.
