Interesting. I'm still hoping the three (out of 6) I have with longer tail feathers are not all roos. If so, I'll have one boy for every girl! Yikes! I'll update everyone if the are indeed boys when they get a bit older. :)

I ordered girls, so I hope I have a majority of them. But three of mine are feathering faster than the rest. I hope I don't have 3 roosters! One would be okay. :) Time will tell.

Mine are a bit skiddish right now, but I hope it will get better. Every time I put my hand in the brooder to change water and feed, they run away. But they are only 3 weeks old. We will see how it goes. :) How old are yours? And are they growing at different rates? Some of mine are getting...
Well, the lighter one is Clementine, so would be Clemence if a boy. 'Her' head spot looks the same as the others except 'she' had a brown dot in it. Both Clementine and Henrietta (who was darker) grew their wings and little tail feathers the fastest. And now, Henrietta's feathers are lightening...
But all six of the clicks have dark washes on the front of their legs. Doesn't that mean they are all girls? And they are only 2 weeks old... so their color is changing everyday. (Not that I wouldn't mind a boy, just asking.)
Hi there! I am the happy owner of 6 2-week old Dominique chicks. Working on their coop on the weekends, and working full time at a museum during the week. Very excited to start this adventure! :) And so happy and grateful for such great chicken owning communities!
