i use wood shavings not pine it can do something with their respiratory system and i use newspaper to cover the shavings for the 1st few days but it is okay to use paper towel. just make sure you change the paper towel/newspaper daily or more if you have to
okay i got tht done. i put a bucket on a wood thing we had laying in the barn and knocked some of the sticks in the middle out than nailed the bucket there and put shavings and a golf ball in there now my little princess wont even stay in it..................... is she scared and will eventualy...
its fine some dont start to eat/drink for 48 hours.........when i hatch mine i showthem around the food and water and they finally understand in a few hours after they hatch

second getting really close to the time they start to lay dont bother them as much and don't be scared that anything is wrong with your birds if you get a soft shell you can boost up your protein for them or it could have been a fart egg
