    Wooo Hoooo !!! After a year and half off from chickens...My new group just started laying!!!! I have 2 black sexlinks and 8 brown sexlinks...I got 4 small eggs this morning!!!! Yipee!!! No more store bought,no taste ,over priced eggs!!!! Way to go girls!!!!! kevin

    I feed my chickens grass clippings...Have for years.....just bag the grass and drop in the coup...They love it!!!!

    I am back after 1 year no chickens...What was I thinking??? Store bought eggs are gross....I traveled a lot last year is why...It was kind of nice....glad to have chicks in the basement again....Love this forum...great information...Coop just needs to be cleaned and a few varmints killed before...

    Today's temperature = # of eggs.

    Have 15 hens,,temps were 7 degrees last night...No heat in the coop or light,,getting about 7 a day...Last week a few got real cold and cracked...Come on spring!!!!!
