I have 8 hens, 1 rooster & a female guinea ( all 1 year old) Also, have 9 10 week old chicks. Wondering when I can put the younger ones in with the older ones.

Does anyone have suggestions for keeping water thawed out during freezing conditions? We have 8 hens 2 roosters. we are having unusual freezing weather for a couple of days. Wondering how to handle the freezing water problem.

ONE OF OUR CHICKENS LAYS AN EGG THAT IS SPECKLED AND IT WASHES OFF. I AM WONDERING IF THIS IS BLOOD AND IF SHE HAS A PROBLEM, OR IF SHE IS IN DANGER.

I have 2 chickens who have lost a large patch of feathers on their backs. Any suggestions as to cause or treatment?

We have 3 Rhode Island Red hens & 5 white leghorn hens. We are getting 4 brown eggs,2 white eggs and 1 khaki colored egg most days. I am guessing the leghorns are mixed breed.
