    Our ChickenCam is up!

Due to the fact that Grandma wanted to watch the chickens while she is at work, I finally pulled an old computer out to the coop and set it up. It's currently running through ustream while I look for software that'll let me run it on my own website. But it's working. Not as high res as I want...

    Water Bottles for Chicks?

Since I accidently posted this in the quail section, I might as well post it here too! My wife took each chick and put their beak on the ball. It didn't take long until one of them figured it out, and they all went over there and went nuts! Piece of cake.

    Hello there

Hi, just joined up, 'cause we just got our first chickens! Guess we need more omelets on the weekend. I went to pick up 6 chickens yesterday, and walked out with 6 Golden Comets, and 2 Leghorns. I couldn't just leave the last two, they looked so lonely. Plus the guy basically paid me .48...

Best tool to cut 4"-6" circle hole?

You'll want a hole-saw. They look like this, and a six inch one will cost about $15.00 if you hunt around. Of course if you plan to use it a lot, get a better one, you get what you pay for. They can run up to a hundred bucks. They sell kits of these too, but normally a six inch one is not...
