When you go to a hatchery website looking for blue laced red Wyandottes, the picture you usually see is the blue phase. If we know that the blue phase is achieved 100% of the time by crossing black to splash then why don’t hatcheries offer this phase on its own? This seems to be the most popular...
I know one of them is crowing because I can hear it but I haven’t seen whether they both are or not, one of them has very pronounced saddle feathers, so I’m not positive on the other one
Someone dumped these two chickens on our property… We don’t have any other chickens right now, but we do have a coop so we ended up catching them after the snowstorm and one is for sure a rooster but I think they are a bantam Partridge Cochin? I’m not positive though… They both have feathered...

Yes, it is our local feed store… I was thinking maybe Americauna because we bought some last year that looked very similar… I really don't care what they are I am hoping they are pullets though!
Thanks guys/gals! Yeah, the light wasn't great, sorry. I bought three Austill or pullets last year and this time I just grabbed some of a bunch that they had thinking that's what they probably were… I love them!
It's also got a white spot on top of its head...any idea what breed this is? I just went to the feed store and picked up 7 chicks of a few different breeds but I can't figure this one out?
