I had Others People's Poultry out 2 years ago to process 12 turkeys and a few chickens. While the the "day" went well... months later when we went to eat them - things were not as good as they looked. Our Thanksgiving Turkey still had its stomach and other 'guts' inside the bird... I sold...

I thought I might keep this thread going with information ... I contacted Craig - his season ends in November but he does do Ducks...
He has refered me too :http://granitestatepoultry.com/ and I'll be contacting them but they're pretty far away...
Is there a mechanical plucker that will work on all poultry, including ducks?
Was hoping we could make or find a plucker that will effectively pluck all the birds we raise (including muscovy ducks, chickens & turkeys). I haven't been able to find much on the effectiveness of plucking ducks...
I'm interested in the 2 Barred Rocks & The 2 Black Stars (10 months old) if you still have them.

this is the smallest but i bribed them with food so I could take some pictures this little one "clucked" up a storm at me and paraded all...

So the testing can add :(
I thought I had signed to have the MS/MG testing with my NPIP testing but I...
