At this point I use 2/3 Startina and 1/3 of a cheeper brand that is only 24% protein. I also give them some whole chicken eggs with the the shell all mashed up periodically and pulverized egg shell to give them back some calcium. Oh and any flies that we kill around the house.

You want as high a protein content as possible. Purina's Startina is really good. It is a little expensive but it is what most people that I have talked to recommend. You can find it at Family Farm and Home or Tractor Supply or any other Farm feed store I am sure.
