when i started my guys from babies last year it seemed like they had a respiratory tract infection with sneezing/wheezing breath sounds, but all it took was to give them a deeper water container that they could stick their whole head in and rinse their beaks out good, as well as their normal...
I've got a Magpie, and love her! She laid all through the winter without extra light, and is calm and pretty, forages great.
Runner laying decent and just a more odd duck compared to the others.
The Welsh Harlequin turned out to be a drake, protective of his yard and very pretty.
we've only got one drake and 2 girls and he's turning into a serial rapist also, overcome with springtime feelings, and starting to wear the girls down. tried locking him away resulting in no eggs and much unhappiness on both sides. any good ideas on how to calm his urges???
Thanks, will do that, since 'mr drake' is playing the serial rapist with her alright, must be springtime feelings in the air... and he's also going to be dinner soon!
