    Thanks for your response. They are not molting. I put diatomaceous earth powder in their coop recently on the floor, nesting boxes and perches. I don't think I have red mites but will check tonight.

    3 of my pullets started spending the night in nesting boxes. They are over 2 years old and have previously used the roosts. They have 3 different roosts.

    Update- I blocked the nesting boxes and one of the 4 roosted with the old hens. Success ! Hopefully the rest will follow her example. Thanks for the help.
