at what age can I feed my chicks treats and also what kind of treats can I give? I'm new to chickens but so far I am loving it!!!

I only wanted 6 but ended up buying 9 and had one hatch yesterday and more hatching anyday! Seems easy to go overboard.

Little Miss Liberty Bell hatched yesterday on July 4th. She is super sweet!!

I have 2 that are 2 days late and I feel the same way... They are rocking and rolling and I can't help but keep checking on them. It's exciting!!

Just hatched my first chick and it hatched on independence day! Yay! Now I'm looking for some patriotic chicken names male and female. Let me know some suggestions. I am not sure as to what breed it is because it is from a barnyard mix.

Trying to figure out the breed and gender of one of my new chicks. I bought some black polish and some mille fleur chicks from a local farm. One stood out from the rest and I am trying to figure out if its a he or she and what breed it may be. Let me know your guesses. Thanks ahead of time Pics...

So my family went last night and we bought some chicks. Some were black polish and some were mille fluer that we got. One of them was a bit smaller and seems to be a mix. I am trying to see what breed it is and maybe a gender? There were all different breeds in the barn when we picked them out.

I'm just curious as to what your temp was through the process? My first ones are due a week from today to hatch
