Well my boy is doing fine...I think he just hit his neck and larynx landing on my girl... Took him a few days to make noise and start acting himself again....today he started crowing again and acting his normal silly self again..I have been giving him vitamin e, selenium and vitamin b...

Hey everyone, hopefully someone has felt with something similar. My small silkie roo, 6months old has gotten injured somehow. He was up on the couch and when we went to feed him, he jumped off the arm rest 3ft. And landed on my other house chicken..immediately after that he would just stand in...

Ended up with 13 at lockdown out of the 24...10 clear and one early quitter..looked like it stopped at day 2....

oh thanks for all the kind words... I just had to see who came from what egg. and of corse they hatched while i was at work, so thats the next best thing i guess... it was fun to do...
Oh its so fun hearing everybody getting pips.. As others said, mine took about 12-13hours after the first pip too.. then they came out one after another :)
So sorry to hear about the loss Farminmomma.. my little one eyed chick opened his other eye tonight and is running around doing good now...
hows the little chick FarminMomma? I have one sick chick too...the one I left in the incubator had his yolk cord? hanging out, not too bad but i had to snip some off, as it had egg shell on it.. and it has one eye that hasent opened yet :( I just hope his cord absorbes...oh and it was so happy...
