    I think there is a good possibility it's from a rooster trying to mate. I think we are going to take her in.

    We noticed this hen limping and brought her in for observation. Her leg appears to be a little bowed out. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? Or how to help? We have her separated and are trying to get her to rest. Thank You!

    so this hen recently got picked on and lost most of her tail feathers. Our other hens are molting, but we think that she looks a lot worse. Any ideas on how to tell if she’s sick?
