He has started crowing. This is our first “batch” so I think yes we can keep him. He is our favorite!

He is pretty! He is an EE but I would love a close up of the comb so then I can see for sure if he is a he. Males have three spikes in their pea combs. Females don't develop their combs until they are older at around 14 weeks. If the chick has three spikes coming out when it is young it is a male.
