There is a total of 15. 7 hatched so far 2 didn't make it:(, assisted hatch doing well now. 8 to go 2 of which just started piping.hoping not to loose anymore ,they started about 3 days before they were due so I'm a little worried. Will post pic when hatching is done. -

I have a question I have a Pair of beautiful pekins! A pair because my drake will only take to this 1 female! why idk, this is there 5th clutch my female is very broody and does a wonderful job but my drake is acting more aggressive toward the nest then ever before... the eggs are due to hatch... -

Thank you for the advice! I will definitely keep a look out for bugs! I always separate her from the other females when she is broody! This is her 5th time hatching! last time she had 15 and 14 hatched! I haven't had issues with bugs or unhealthy birds! I have my local farm vet check all... -
