Chicken laying shell less/ thin shelled eggs in the middle of the night on roosts

I have an Easter egger (Americauna mix) who has similar issues. She lays softer eggs than the others, they are quite large, and the eggs often have calcium deposits on them in odd places, sometimes on the inside of the egg. I have never seen her lay a shell less egg, though if she did I imagine...

5 Week old Easter Egger, suspected cockerel

Okay, I thought so. We are only allowed to keep 6 over 8 weeks old so we are in the rehoming process.:hit Down to 8 and have someone willing to take this one knowing she is probably a he, since she lives out of town, along with one of her sisters. Then we will be down to 6...but I wanted some...

5 Week old Easter Egger, suspected cockerel

I ordered 15 pullets but I suspect this one may be a cockerel. I know they only have a 90% success rate. Her comb is bigger/pinker than her sister's combs and gets pinker when she is agitated. What do you think? 1st 2 pics are suspected cockerel. 2nd 2 pics are one of her sisters for comparison.

    Uh...my girls just killed a toad :(

:sick I'm a new chicken owner...but aren't you supposed to at least cook chicken bits thoroughly before giving them to chickens to prevent diseases? Do you cook the lungs? Eggs I can understand..they basically consume an egg as they develop inside it..but feeding chickens actual chickens...

***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Hello fellow Oklahomans:D I am in Tulsa and wanting to find a new home for 4 of our pullets. Asking enough to cover some of the cost since we bought them from a hatchery. I am copy pasting what I posted in the Buy Sell Trade spot here. They are 5 weeks old on 6/18/19. Hello, we are selling 4 of...

    4 Easter egger chicks// 5 weeks old on 6/18/19 //Tulsa, Ok

Hello, we are selling 4 of our Easter Egger Pullets. We ordered these from Hoover's Hatchery. They hatched out on May 14th. The reason we are selling some is because we can only keep 6 of them after they are over 8 weeks old. They are still living inside, no heat source, and we have no other...

    2 week old sick chick

Today was day 5 of the Corid, Miss Wing is doing great. She took a few days to perk up, but she is eating and drinking a lot and is active. I thought the chicks poops were solid before but they look even better now, I can tell all the poop did have more mucus pre-treatment, so I am glad I went...

    2 week old sick chick

Yes I will go ahead and treat them, she seems a lot better, and it is possible that isn't the issue, but she is at least very weakened and susceptible so I would rather be safe.

    2 week old sick chick

Last night I gave Miss Wing a baby syringe of kefir for some nutrition/liquid. Before I left this morning I gave miss wing a half a baby syringe of milk. She is now walking around and eating/drinking and preening herself. Could that thing she pooped out have been the cause of her issue? Her...

    2 week old sick chick

So she is still alive, we are about to head to tractor supply. I assume these are her poop, she was standing next to them. The one on the brick is the same consistency, it just hasn't been spread. One on the practice perch and one on the brick. Neither look good.
