    Purchased this Welsummer from the pullet bin at TSC, I've never owned the breed before and although I know they are a sex linked breed - I can't find pictures of chicks around the same age. Roo? Pullet?

    No, I have too many egg layers as well! Was just planning to fill the freezer, so I'll have to find a home for them!

    A few weeks ago I sent my partner to pick up Cornish X chicks from the feed store. He brought them home and I commented on how they seemed smaller than the others I had picked up and figured they were just a few days apart in age. 3 weeks later it's obvious my partner brought home white leghorns. 🐓🙄

    Olive eggers or RIR?

    I believe they go through Hoover, all of the olive eggers I have seen from them have been crested which is why I wondered.

    Mystic Marans

    I purchased 3 mystic marans in April, I was under the impression they were a sex linked breed and the roosters would be barred. I'm convinced I have three cockerels. 😭

    I purchased four olive eggers from family farm and home in April. The older they get, the less I think they are olive eggers and more that they are RIR/production reds? What do you think?

    Picked up 4 olive egger chicks from FFH. Has anyone bought them from them? Bonus points for pictures of your eggs/adult hens.
